Trumpeter, educator, mentor Clyde Kerr Jr. dies at age 67
Clyde Kerr Jr. relished improvisation whether on a bandstand, in a classroom or at a drawing board. The noted New Orleans trumpeter and much-loved educator spent a lifetime enriching the scene with his horn and passing on the music to a multitude of students.
