Zydeco festival gets permanent exemption (Opelousas Daily World)
The St. Landry Parish Council has voted to exempt the Original Southwest Louisiana Zydeco Music Festival from all parish fees and meeting requirements forever.

Castle Air Museum will hold its third annual Plane Crazy dinner-dance fundraiser starting at 6 p.m. Saturday at 5050 Santa Fe Drive. The Black Velvet Band will play live, silent and live auctions.
