Summary: Had problems, Buying a new one
I bought this product and the release became stuck. I couldn't get it to release, and took the whole thing apart. i'm putting it down to a fluke of one bad product and I'm going to buy a new one. (I threw the old one away since I took it apart to fix and couldn't get it back together. oops) When mine DID work though, I loved it. So I'm grabbing a new one!

Summary: Gets stuck
The cable worked great until it stopped working at all. I shot about 50 frames before this cable stopped working. I pressed down the little depressor and it didn't come back up. Tried fiddling with it a little, pulling the cable housing, and couldn't get it to release. I'll probably buy another one but I'm bummed this cable is a poorly made piece of gear. If anyone has suggestions on how to fix this, I'd love to hear.

Summary: Didn't fit the Holga 120 I just bought
I was really looking forward to using this with my brand new Holga 120 I also purchased on Amazon. When I got it, it looked and felt like a quality item, however, when I went to place it on my Holga, the notch on the bottom didn't line up with the tripod mount on the bottom of the camera. The mount is dead-center on the bottom of my camera (next to the B N switch) but the notch on shutter release to accommodate this is slightly off center. Take a close look at yours to make sure it'll work before you buy it.

Summary: Great Product for Holga Users
I love this product. Makes it a lot easier to get clearer shots with the Holga. I actually keep it attached all the time now, whether or not I am using a tripod. Worth the money.
