Summary: Perfect headphones

These headphones are exactly what I was looking for. They're lightweight and comfortable, sound quality is great and they have proven hardy. Then again, I'm not one of those people who notices a difference between a $100 sound system and a $25 sound system, but again, to me it sounds great.

It folds up nicely, and it's pretty easy to use it with one ear folded up if you want to keep "one ear open."

It comes with a larger headphone adapter which works in my Yamaha keyboard so yay for me, but I'm not really sure why such an adapter is included. It's not something I normally see with headsets.

I was also surprised at how loud these headphones could work at. It literally approaches the volume of a normal speaker if you set the volume high enough on the computer, although that is not exactly something I recommend trying while wearing.

Summary: Don't Fit - NOT Worth ANY AMOUNT of $$

Sleek looking but non-conforming to the head, They just DON'T fit your head properly, since the ear pieces only adjust in one direction. Maybe because they are collapseable is the reason for thier limitation.

Summary: Great Headphones

I had pair of these headphones before and I wanted another pair. These headphones have a deep sound and I enjoy them very much.

Summary: Great headphones for their price.

The Good: Great sound (for their price), very portable, good all-around basic headphones
The Bad: They seem somewhat flimsy, weak bass

I got these headphones to go with my laptop and iPod last summer (2008), and they served me well until I upgraded to Sennheiser HD-555s. I still use them with my iPod, for which they are perfectly suited if you are like me and don't like earbuds.

That said, these are great headphones for their price. Sound quality is pretty good, though the bass seems a bit weak. Other reviews compliment the bass, though, and I don't have much to compare them with, so don't just take my word for it.

The folding design lets them fit in a coat pocket or backpack (I wouldn't recommend putting them in a pants pocket), very handy for use with an iPod as they can be stored as easily as earbuds between uses. They're pretty comfortable and decent for home use, though I worry about them falling off if I tilt my head too much.

The drawback to their folding design, though, is that they feel pretty flimsy. If they come apart at the folding joints (which has happened to me a few times), putting them back together can be tricky due to their tiny screws.

Overall, though, they're nice cheap headphones for use at home or with an iPod for those who don't want to spend too much.

Summary: Decent Sound, Poor Durability

I bought these headphones as a replacement of my iPod earbuds. What attracted me was the cheap price, and once I had opened them, their easy storage; the headphones have three hinges, one at the top and one for each ear, that lets them fold up and thus fit with ease into my trenchcoat pocket.

The sound of these headphones is good for the price. However, a lot of the sound blasts outward and so if the volume is too high, everyone else knows what you are listening to, but in crowded areas it is no concern. Nothing in particular stands out about the sound quality, good or bad; the sound is clear and nothing is over or underemphasized.

However, the headphone design is not particularly durable. I tend to shove my headphones into a pocket while in class so I don't have to worry about them. Since these headphones fold up, one would think this wouldn't be a problem. Instead, the right phone comes loose from the base. Seeing as the phones are screwed in, and the screw comes off WITH the earphone, I honestly have no idea how this happens. My only guess is that the plastic is too flexible/loose and so the screw is able to slip out and no longer secures the headphones in place.

Perhaps this would be fine if it only happened once in a while; however, I regularly have to pull out my mini screwdriver set to delicately screw the headphones back together. No matter how tight I make it, without fail, the right ear eventually comes loose from the base again. As this happens, I can see the wear around the screw hole, and I'm certain the plastic will break altogether eventually.

The sound quality isn't affected, and I can even temporarily shove the headphones back together without breaking the structure and have it stay secure on my head for a time; however, it is an annoyance that makes the storange convenience of the headphones seem pointless. Why store them when they will fall apart?

Hence, while I may recommend the headphones for having decent sound quality for the price, I would not recommend them for their design; it is flimsy and offsets the convenience of being able to store these headphones in tight locations.

Thank you for reading my review, and I hope it was helpful.
