In THE NAKED JUNGLE, Charlton Heston plays the powerful, brooding owner of a plantation in the wild and treacherous South American jungle, while Eleanor Parker plays his charming American mail order bride. They don't make movies like this anymore... great dialog... stunning scenery and the sexual tension you could cut with a knife. I think it is time to bring back the studios and their contract players. Entertainment at its best... a must see just to hear how writers can make or break a movie... and the Marabunta (real giant ants) scenes are amazing... but this is more about the human spirit.. I give it 2 thumbs up and 5 stars

I remember watching this movie as a kid. I still love it. Charlton Heston is young and handsome, Eleanor Parker is at her haughty best and true love wins. It doesn't get any better.
