The phones are built with Neodymium magnets, which pack more magnetic energy per ounce than conventional Ferrite, Samarium Cobalt or Aluminum magnets, and help produce ample sound output (106 dB/mW sensitivity). The phones' Oxygen-free copper cord and gold-plated mini plug provide maximum conductivity and minimum noise, and its clever cord material helps reduce knots and tangles. I've had my headphones for a couple of month now and am very satisfied with the sound and quality. The noise canceling is a little weaker then other Sony models I've tried. They are very lightweight and have excellent sound quality. I would recommend them. They are a great value for the price

After reading what this headphones could do, I was excited and couldn't wait to get one for myself. It turns out to be just another cheezy headphones. The quality is horrible, and it's not comfortable as it claims to be. Bottom line, "Save your money!"
