Spring Vista sets a traditional table with an old-fashioned floral design. Lenox trims this classic pattern with 24-karat gold to impart a more luxurious look, although the ivory fine china is durable enough for everyday use. Accessorizes a full range of Spring Vista Gold dinnerware, this salt shaker takes on a footed shape whose curves and subtle fluting feel delightful in the hand. Around the top under the gold trim lies a mustard-yellow band with delicate detailing, a sage green infill that narrows and widens, and sprays of antique-pink, mustard-yellow, and pale blue flowers.

In actuality, the 3-3/4-by-2-inch shaker can contain either salt or pepper. The seven holes in the top are a little too small for large salt crystals, so fans of coarse sea salt should take note. A plastic plug in the bottom removes for filling. While Lenox gold-trimmed dinnerware is not microwave-safe, it can be cleaned in a dishwasher, preferably with a mild detergent and low heat setting.
